Elder’s Patalganga unit was upgraded according to ICH Q7A guidelines, facilitating the manufacture of products for the US and UK markets. The site’s certifications – ISO 9001:2000, WHO-cGMP and filed COS with the European Directorate for Quality of Medicine make it possible for Elder to cater to the demanding needs of the regulated markets. These approvals will enable Elder to export Clarithromycin to Europe and file a USDMF for Clarithromycin and a COS / CTD for Diosmin and Lamotregene. Elder strengthened its position as a viable CRAMs partner for European and US alliances.
