TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Offer Letter
On completion of the Recruitment and Selection process an offer letter is issued to the candidate.

Appointment Letter
On joining the Company and appointment letter is issued mentioning the compensation and terms and condition of the employment.

Confirmation
Your services will be confirmed on successful completion of Training and probation period. However for Manager and above there is no probation period hence there are confirmed in the services from the date of joining.

2. UNDERSTANDING OF COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

Your emoluments include all or some or some of the following:

a.Salary

1 Basic Salary

Guaranteed monthly base salary , exclusive of any allowances. The basic varies as per the band depending on education , experience, job role ,
Performance etc. It forms the basis for calculation of , leave encasement, Superannuation if applicable, Provident Fund , Gratuity ,Notice Pay etc.

2 House Rent Allowance
All permanent employees who reside in their own accommodation are paid HRA.


3 Other Allowances

Other Allowances is a part of monthly salary & does not attract Statutory benefits


b. Other Benefits

1 Leave Travel Allowance/ bursements

• All confirmed employees are entitled to one month’s basic salary as leave travel assistance in a year subject to the rules applicable.
• Minimum period of privilege leave qualifying for leave travel assistance claim shall be five continuous days.
• Carry over travel assistance will be permissible to the extent of one year’s
Entitlement.
• This is subject to Income Tax applicability

2 Medical Reimbursements

• All confirmed employees who are not covered under Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) will be entitled to reimbursement of actual medical expense for himself & family members up to a maximum equivalent to one month’s basic salary annually.
• Unutilized amount will be carried forward and can be accumulated up to two months basic salary.
• This is subject to Income Tax applicability

3 Bonus
Bonus will be paid as per the payment of bonus act.

4 Provident Fund
As per the provisions of Provident Fund act.

5 Gratuity
As per the provisions of Gratuity Act.


c.Salary
The candidate is assisted to open a Salary Account with approved Bank.

3. ELDER INFORMATION CENTER (Library)

Elder Information Center is a one-stop center for accessing knowledge of different subjects or topics to all elderites. Elder Information Center provides access to the latest ideas in several areas of study, professional life and career development. It serves comprehensive information service to satisfy all recreational, professional and reference needs of all the elderites.

Elder Information Center aims to collect store and disseminate information besides offering computerized services to elderites to coordinate efforts for suitable collection development and also to reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible.

Elder Information Center more than 1200 information sources divided in Books, Periodical, Scientific journals, Reference sources, Annual Reports, Digital Resources etc. It has finest collection of books on variety of subjects like Medical, Management, Art, General reading and Fictions. It also subscribes a number national as well as international scientific journals and periodicals.

Elder Information Center’s main objective is to cater each and every information need of all the elderites by facilitating value-added services within a tick.


4. ANNUAL HEALTH CHECK UP:

The objective is to ensure good health and well being of the employee.
• All Employees can undergo medical check up(as prescribed) every year at approved diagnostic Center by the company.
• The type of the test will be suggested by the company and the expenses incurred for this medical examination will be borne by the company.


5. WORKING HOURS OF HEAD OFFICE:


Head office
Working Hours : 9-9.30 am to 5-5.30 pm, Half an hour flexi time is provided to the employees
Lunch Break: 12.45 pm to 01.15 pm (Females) : 01.15 pm to 01.45 pm (Males)
Weekly Holidays:
Saturday & Sunday.
Late Attendance: 1 day casual leave will be deducted for arriving late by 15 minutes, three times in a month.
Every employee is provided a Elder Identity cum Swipe card which keeps a record of in and timings. Also it is mandatory to sign the attendance register daily at the time of arrival. Late arrival will be marked after 15 minutes from the starting time (excluding when prior permission is taken).

Paid Holidays
9/10 holidays in a year will be selected out of the list of holidays declared by the, State Government & will be displayed on the notice board. The management reserves the right to change the predeclared holidays.
Depending upon the exigencies of work. The management also reserves the right to change the working hours/ weekly holidays.
