MUMBAI: The California-based bio-pharmaceutical company, Cymbiotics, has signed an in-licensing deal with Elder Pharmaceuticals to market six of its patented products in India. As per the agreement, Elder will market Cymbiotics products in pain management, diabetics, dermatology, besides OTC products. Cymbiotics develops disease-specific formulations in pain management, cardiovascular, urinary incontinence and other inflammation management-related conditions. Initially, Elder will market Cymbiotics’ arthritis drug Flexasur and diabetic drug Diaperin. Cymbiotics CEO Raj Barathur said, “The deal will strengthen our presence in the Indian market.”
