Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd has announced that during the Board Meeting held on April 29, 2009, the resignation of Mr. Peter Bibby, who had submitted his resignation on health grounds, was placed before the Board and the same was accepted by the Board. During the same meeting the Board appointed Mrs. Urvashi Saxena as an Additional Director who shall be an Independent Director on the Board. Also, in the same meeting the Board, subject to the approval of the general meeting and the government and other regulatory bodies, if any, decided to re-appoint Mr. Jagdish Saxena as Managing Director for a further period of five years effective April 30, 2009.
